THE MSC IN FINANCE

The Leicester MSc in Finance is a rigorous programme and is both intellectually challenging and ambitious. It will provide you with a thorough understanding of the principle methods and techniques of financial management and give you a framework of reference enabling you to deal with complex financial issues and to handle them effectively.

This is a specialist career entry programme for which you should already have a good honours degree. Students come from a variety of backgrounds, including economics, law, engineering and finance.

Research Methodology & Dissertation

Enrolment Dates: May, August, November and February

Duration: Distance Learning – minimum 24 months, maximum 60 months.

Assessment: The programme is assessed by a mixture of continuous assessment, examinations and dissertation.

Fees: £6,750

Student Support : Online study support includes streamed lectures, materials, discussion forums and web-conferences with tutors. Students are also expected to use the Digital Library.

Study materials: are mainly paper-based, consisting of Modules and essential Textbooks or readings. These are included in the tuition fees.
